American Business Award
Every year, the American Business Council recognizes the outstanding contribution of an Emirati citizen in developing relations between the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America through the presentation of the American Business Award.
In 2001, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defense was presented with the American Business Award for His inspirational leadership and vision that created an environment of peace, prosperity, security and stability among a diverse expatriate community, especially during the aftermath of September 11.
