Job Title:                   biz-events Telesales and Coordinator

 Reports to:               Solutions Director 

Job Purpose:                         

Monitor and report on the biz-events sales pipeline from lead generation through to contract signature, correlated to individual sales managersEnsure that the Customer Relationship Management system, ACT, is properly maintained and generate accurate, timely reports as required

 

Proactively generate leads for biz-events and ensure that they are assigned appropriately to sales managers Plan and execute biz-event telesales campaigns to market all biz-event products within the Region as required to meet sales targetsFollow-up with existing clients as required, by phone, e-mail or other means in accordance with the Account Management plan Ensure that sales managers are equipped with the necessary sales collateral and material Draft biz-event proposals  

Knowledge and Experience: 

  • The successful applicant should be a “biz-ability/biz-events person”
 
  • A highly motivated, self-starter who enjoys working closely with a dynamic team and capable of working without constant supervision
 
  • The candidate should have experience in telesales, ideally in a related business field
 
  • The applicant should be used to organising his or her own time in order to deliver high quality work to meet the job purpose and targets within the role.
 
  • The applicant must have completed secondary education and it would be advantageous to have formal training in Sales and/or Marketing.
  Main Responsibilities: 

 

  • Continual update and maintenance of client records in a central biz-events database (ACT)
 
  • Verifying existing contacts
 
  • Enter new business contacts
 
  • Grow database to reach goal of 5,000 accurate records
 
  • Generate leads whilst verifying contact information
 
  • Establish companies current preferred suppliers, activity level and potential product needs
 
  • Investigate competitor activity and price strategy to ensure that biz-events is updated on what the competitors are doing
 
  • Produce MIS reports using ACT

 Main Skills: 

  • Confident and professional telephone manner
 
  • Proven track record in telesales/demonstrable ability to sell
 
  • Ability to ask questions and establish basic client requirements
 
  • Sound communication skills with a high standard of written English
 
  • Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
 
  • Excellent level of IT proficiency
